Where can I get free desktop themes that Windows XP can use easily without anything additional?

windows xp doesn't support new themes without anything additional, the themes are locked to luna and classic. at the VERY least you'll need to download and run once the 'uxtheme.dll multipatcher' which will patch a file in windows to let you use non-microsoft visual themes. you can download this from here: http://themes.belchfire.net/index.php?s=383a929c1d725c2066b63c68eab42729&act=Attach&type=post&id=57 after you've downloaded and ran the multi-patcher, you can then delete it and download some custom visual styles, from here: http://www.themexp.org/listings.php?type=vs&view=downloads&proddesc=XP%20Visual%20Styles http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/skins/windows/visualstyle/?order=9&alltime=yes http://www.crystalxp.net/galerie/en.cat.3.htm but overall, if you download ANY themes they will not work without the equivalent skinning program or the one-time method i've described above, which is the best way for enabling themes.
