What are some cute themes for decorating a kitchen?

My kitchen right now is so boring and I want to decorate it, but can't really think of any cute themes to use. I don't want to redo anything major like flooring or countertops or anything like that because I don't have enough money to replace them. I'm 21 so I don't want any grandma styles or anything and I hate coffee and wine so those aren't good themes. Also, I have green counters so it would help if it would match.
